Mental Health First Aid Certification
We offer Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Standard Virtual. This includes a 2-hour self-directed module and a 7-hour live training that can be provided either in one day or over two days with 3.5 hours each.
MHFA Standard Virtual can accommodate up to 15 participants per training session. Participants who complete all components of training successfully will be provided with certification issued by Opening Minds of the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
This certification is evidence based and recognized by various employers in both the public and private sectors.
Course Curriculum
Module 1: Self - Directed
An introductory module that lays the foundation of MHFA actions.
Module 2: Virtual Classroom
Focuses on applying MHFA actions in scenarios of declining mental well-being and adapting conversations for diverse groups.
Module 3: Virtual Classroom
Enhances skills in crisis management and highlighting the importance of self-care.

MHFA is a certified training program from the Mental Health Commission of Canada and is also part of The National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace. MHFA is the only international mental health training program that is being delivered in 25 countries around the world.
